The Club is situated on the west side of Portsmouth Harbour at the start of Fareham creek 58:48.86N 1:07.90W.
By road leave the M27 at J11 (Fareham Central) follow signs A32 Gosport and shortly after passing Fleetlands (helicopter on show outside) turn left at next traffic lights, then after a roundabout take the first traffic lights left then immediately left again into Priory Road. Hardway Sailing Club is about half a mile on the left. Parking short term on the slipway at the side of the club compound or long term turn right into Green Lane and the car park is at the end on the right.
By sea after entering Portsmouth Harbour, keep to port and just under two miles from the harbour mouth there are two pontoons (opposite twin cranes). The first is a public pontoon, next is the longer Hardway Sailing Clubs pontoons. At HW the shoremost pontoon has at least two metres of water and at LW the seaward pontoon has appx 1.5metres at neaps and almost dries on big springs. The sea bed area around the pontoons is soft silt and boats moored to the pontoons will sit comfortably into the mud on the ebb tide.
